Program Description

Mac REI Properties sends SMS text messages to residential tenants and contracted vendors regarding property management matters: maintenance request updates, appointment scheduling and confirmations, rent reminders, and account notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.

How You Consent (Opt-In)

You provide written consent to receive text messages from Mac REI Properties when you sign your lease agreement or move-in contact form (tenants), your vendor services agreement (contracted vendors), or when you submit our voluntary online SMS sign-up form. The consent language reads:

"By providing my mobile phone number and signing below, I agree to receive text messages from Mac REI Properties related to my tenancy or vendor relationship, including maintenance updates, scheduling, rent reminders, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. I can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of tenancy or of doing business with Mac REI Properties."

Consent is optional and never a condition of tenancy, vendor service, or any transaction. Phone numbers are collected exclusively from these signed agreements and our own sign-up form. We never purchase phone lists or obtain numbers from third-party sources.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on account activity (typically 0-10 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. Opting out of text messages does not affect your tenancy or vendor relationship; we will use email, phone, or mail instead.
